About Matt Claxton at Mall of Georgia MINI in Buford, GA

I have a passion for the automotive industry and to help serve those I meet along the way to the best of my ability, have some fun and build new relationships!

It started when I was a kid. Dukes of Hazzard, Knight Ryder, Miami Vice, the A-Team, Simon & Simon, Magnum PI, Back to the Future, Cannonball Run and the list goes on. I was infatuated with the cars I grew up with and I had this ability to remember childhood friends by what make, model, trim vehicle their parents drove and then high school & college. I thought I was going to be an Engineer but my real passion was the Automotive Industry.

I have over 25 years of experience from having started out as an appraiser/buyer with Carmax to a service advisor with Chevrolet and Ford to a service manager/director with Hyundai, Kia, Mitsubishi,  Buick GMC, Chevrolet & CDJR. I now help people find new rides at Mall of Ga MINI and have worked with the Hendrick Automotive Group for a total of about 8 years.

I have a beautiful wife of 23+ years and 2 college age kids. I enjoy motorcycle riding, Jeeps, camping, hanging out with friends/family and sleeping lol

Life is short! I enjoy sharing meme's, funny videos and keeping things in perspective. I enjoy being around my teammates and having fun. I work hard to play hard as they say!
